The Working Paper Series Gender<ed> Thoughts is an innovative scholarly platform for interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary discourse that contributes to current theoretical, empirical and methodological debates in gender studies (gender thoughts) and reflects the individual and societal significance of gender in everyday life (gendered thoughts).
Gender<ed> Thoughts? targets particularly early career researchers, offering them an opportunity to publish their academic papers in a inclusive, respectful and encouraging environment. We are a non-commercial, peer-reviewed and independent diamond open access working paper series. Affiliated with the Göttingen University Library, Gender<ed> Thoughts is listed among the established journals in the German National Library and Gender Repository.
Primary addressees of the series are students, doctoral candidates and post-doctoral researchers. Possible contributions include findings from research projects, excerpts from theses, discussions of theoretical approaches, systematic literature reviews, book reviews, and others.
The editors-in-chief, Anukriti Dixit (Bern), Carolina Borda-Niño-Wildman (Edinburgh), Marija Grujić (Frankfurt Oder), Lydia Ayame Hiraide (Tokyo), Maximiliane Hädicke (Göttingen), Yves Jeanrenaud (München/Darmstadt), Sandra Lang (Zürich), Yvonne Schüpbach (Bern), Julia Wartmann (Lausanne) and Chris Waugh (Manchester) preselect submitted contributions. Selected articles undergo an anonymous peer review process, ensuring their academic quality.
Contributions are published continuously in German or English language, exceptions can be made where appropriate. The papers will be published open access under the Creative Commons License cc-by-sa 4.0. Publications are free of charge for both, the authors and the audience.
